Warren Buffett now likes Anhueser Busch and Sysco Foods (see my column of 7/1/05); I like Warren Buffet.
Quarterly Profit Review -
Microsoft - 37% increase in earnings on 9% increase on revenue, what a cash cow. What if Google and Mr. Softee got together? Hey ! a guy can dream can't he ?
Google - $1.38 billion in revenue v. 700.2 million last year same quarter, 342.8 million in earnings v. 79.1. Prudential Securities now puts target price at $400. I still have no &^%$!? clue.
Coke - up nicely - BUY
Delta Airlines - lost 388 million last quarter, 10 billion since 2001. Only 2 billion in cash left, will be in Chapter 11 by end of summer. Southwest is preparing to pounce on the lucrative Florida market and their gates in Atlanta, BUY SWA.
